Every year, every third traffic accident is associated with a collision with a pedestrian. The main reasons are characterized by: non-compliance with traffic rules, unsatisfactory condition of pedestrian crossings, regulatory elements or their absence. The article developed a classification of pedestrian crossings, as well as measures to ensure road safety.
