On Supporting QUIC Data Transmission through Dynamic Multicast Management
Description
As Internet users progressively increase, latency, speed, and the mobility of nodes and connections have become significant concerns. In this dynamic scenario, Heterogeneous Networks predominate, in which communications occur between devices of different technologies, manufacturers, capacities, and structures. Most communications on these networks work through the TCP protocol, which wastes much of the resources available on networks and communications. Using some resources offered by QUIC, this research aims to investigate optimization methods of dynamic multicast connections in heterogeneous and multipath environments to provide an alternative to the current demands of computer networks and mitigate the current limitations existing in the current TCP architecture.
