Education for Minorities in Karnataka

The Education Cell of Minorities Commission takes care of all educational matters concerning Minorities. It maintains close liaison with the Department of Public Instruction in general and the Directorate of Urdu and other Minority language institutions in particular. It helps the Commission in closely monitoring the position of Minority Educational Institutions. It also helps Minorities in getting permission to start new institutions in getting recognition, getting approval for the appointments made and also in enabling them to exercise their right under article 30 of the Constitution. I have assisted in the preparation of the educational section of the Karnataka State Minorities Comission Report of 2003-04.
