The Study Area, the Discovery Bay Coastal Park, is located between Cape Bridgewater and the Victorian-South Australian border. Archaeological surveys have indicated there are hundreds of Aboriginal shell middens in this area. I originally came to the Study Area to undertake an archaeological management report for the National Parks Service of Victoria. It was because of my familiarity with the area, and its research potential, that I stayed on to undertake this study. ...
