Research on the history of translation in Spain

Some historiographical considerations on translation and the sources available to study the history of the theory and practice of translation in Spain are presented, together with a brief overview of how this history of translation has been built by scholars, drawing attention to the main historians. Finally, the most relevant general contributions on this history are discussed.
