Cultural heritage in Switzerland and Canton Ticino and their inventories

Existing approaches for cataloguing cultural assets and archives are collected and analysed for preliminary evaluations on their possible integration at Alpine scale.

As part of activity 2.2, a research was carried out on the available catalogues of cultural assets in Switzerland, addressing both the national level and the regional level of Canton Ticino.
The activity describes the system of cultural property protection in Switzerland and in Canton Ticino and it surveys the national and regional inventories considered of interest in the context of this project, addressing the list of cultural heritage, sites and monuments to protect in case of natural catastrophe.
