Modern musical instruments offer ample opportunities for working with writing music in various genres. The device of this or that tool directly affects its quality and characteristics. The article discusses sound synthesis methods that are used in various synthesizers. The purpose of this work is a brief review of all available synthesis technologies. Based on the materials provided, it will be possible to analyze the current capabilities of synthesizers, to identify the advantages and disadvantages of analog and digital devices.
