Characterizing Architecture Related Posts and Their Usefulness in Stack Overflow

This is the replication package for the paper: "Characterizing Architecture Related Posts and Their Usefulness in Stack Overflow". In the following, we provide a brief description of the folders.

(1) raw data

The raw data folder contains the retrieved 32,182 posts and the SQL query used for retrieving these posts in SO through the query interface provided by Stack Exchange.

(2) filtered ARPs and sample size of ARPs

The filtered ARPs and sample size of ARPs folder contains 10,423 filtered candidate architecture related posts from 32,182 posts and the representative sample size (i.e., 968 ARPs) used to answer the Research Questions (RQs).

(3) randomly selected posts and labeling results

The randomly selected posts and labeling results folder contains 1,069 randomly selected posts and their labeling results (i.e., 21 ARPs).

(4) data extraction and analysis

The project folder contains the MAXQDA project file. Data Labeling & Encoding for RQs.mx20 is the results of data labeling and encoding for all the RQs, which were analyzed by the MAXQDA tool. The files can be opened by MAXQDA 2020 or higher versions, which are available at https://www.maxqda.com/ for download.
