Binary Systems in Globular Clusters: M71
Description
M71 is a crucial galactic globular cluster due to its metal-rich property and many binary systems. As a result of the development of new observation and reduction techniques and telescopes, we can better obtain the light changes of cluster member stars today. In this study, we obtained new observations of the M71 globular cluster. New and all observations available in the literature were examined together, and short- and long-term light curves were analyzed. As a result of the study, we obtained the orbital and atmospheric parameters of the selected binaries.
