Optimizing of Average Surface Roughness of Al12si Machining Using Minitab-19
Authors/Creators
- 1. 3Department of Mechanical Engineering, Fabtech Technical Campus College of Engineering and Research Sangola.
Description
Al12Si is machined under wet machining conditions using Neem Seed Oil and Soluble Oils as coolants. All machining parameters are taken under Mnitab 19 L9 Array. Surface roughness of each tool in each cutting parameter under specific machining parameter is studied and tabulated. Optimization of cutting tools out of Uncoated, PVD TiN Coated and Hard Carbon Coated Carbide cutting tools is studied using Mini Tab-19 software.
