Datasets, R scripts, functions for paper on GPR as compositional data

Description

This is a collection of datasets, R scripts, functions for paper on GPR as compositional data

paper title and DOI will be added after publication

the collection includes folders:

  • folder "data" with original datasets of GPR data from three sites ("barxacova.ASC","hermitage.ASC","zaldua_data_1.dat","zaldua_data_2.dat","zaldua_data_3.dat","zaldua_data_4.dat") and geochemical pXRF data from one site ("lovetin.csv")
  • folder "functions", which are ready to be read into R session; the functions are a part of the Github.com repository "gedaw" which can be also found under DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7297055

the collection also includes script with all the workflow (data upload, analyses, figures plotting)

Notes

We would like to thank to our colleagues who shared with us the data from their researches to test the idea and to develop the analytical methods and computational processes on them. We also thank to all the funding and supportive platforms enabling the origin of this work. The creation of our network, cooperation and ideas was supported by many ways (especially by STSMs, Virtual Mobility tools, Conference grants and general meetings) by COST association via SAGA (The Soil Science and Archaeo-Geophysics Alliance, action no. 17131). All the authors of this paper were members of the SAGA. Jan Horák and Martin Janovský were also supported by project "Geochemical insight into non-destructive archaeological research" (LTC19016) of subprogram INTER‐COST (LTC19) of program INTEREXCELLENCE by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic. Mercedes Solla acknowledges the grant [RYC2019–026604–I] funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by "ESF Investing in your future".
