Datasets, R scripts, R functions, R objects of trial case study data for paper on data integration

Description

This is a collection of the materials including the original source data for the integration paper

paper title and DOI will be added after publication

the collection includes folders:

  • folder "data_original" with original datasets of geophysical magnetometer data ("gph_original.dat"), geochemical pXRF data ("gchm_original.csv"), coordinates of geophysical research area corners ("gph_corners.csv") and the shapefile of the enclosure ("enclosure.shp")
  • folder "functions", which are ready to be read into R session; the functions are a part of the Github.com repository "gedaw" which can be also found under DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7297055
  • folder "GIS_objects" which contains GIS objects created during R session according to the scripts and stored here to be used in GIS programs and applications
  • folder "R_objects" which contains majority of the R objects created during R session according to the scripts; this folder contains the objects which are time consuming to create and therfore their creation can be skipped and these objects can be uploaded into R session directly from this folder

the collection also includes scripts:

  • scripts are used during R session and represent the workflow of the integration method presented in the paper
  • script 1 focuses on pre-processing, can be skipped, as the objects created in pre-processing can be directly uploaded from the folder R_objects
  • script 2 contains simple version of the script, which is shortened only to needed minimum and is to be used for direct and fast getting knowledge of how the method works
  • script 3 contains all and thorough method workflow with all the computations and operations, its purpose is to serve as detailed and commented insight into how the method works
  • script 4 contains scripts for all the figures used in the paper
