TYPE LOCALITY: Given by Anderson (1912:790) as " New Ireland, coast adjacent to Duke of York Isl." (Papua New Guinea, Bismarck Arch.).
DISTRIBUTION: Bismarck Arch.; a New Guinea record is highly questionable.
SYNONYMS: alboscapulatus.
