TYPE LOCALITY: "des environs des îles Falckland ou Malouines" [Falkland Isis (UK)].
DISTRIBUTION: Circumpolar, in southern oceans (Antarctica, Australia, Chile, Kerguelen Islands, South Sandwich Isis, Falkland Isis, southern Africa, New Zealand).
SYNONYMS: homei Lesson, 1828.
