Calomys lepidus

Description

Calomys lepidus (Thomas, 1884). Proc. Zool. Soc. Lond., 1884:454.

TYPE LOCALITY: Peru, Junfn Dept., Junin.

DISTRIBUTION: Altipiano of C Peru through W Bolivia, to NE Chile and NW Argentina.

SYNONYMS: argurus, carillus, ducillus, marcarum, montanus.

COMMENTS: Karyotype reported by Pearson and Patton (1976).
