TYPE LOCALITY: Argentina, Chubut Prov., Valle del Lago Blanco, Koslowsky region, 100 m.
DISTRIBUTION: WC to S Argentina.
SYNONYMS: collinus, nucus.
COMMENTS: Subgenus Akodon. The form nucus has been recently listed as a species (Hershkovitz, 1990c; Reig, 1987).
