Glironia venusta Thomas, 1912. Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., ser. 8, 9:240.

TYPE LOCALITY: Peril, Huânuco, "Pozuzo."

DISTRIBUTION: Amazonian Brazil, Ecuador, Peril, and Bolivia.

STATUS: Rare.

SYNONYMS: aequatorialis Anthony, 1926; criniger Anthony, 1926.

COMMENTS: Reviewed by Marshall (1978c, Mammalian Species, 107).
