Macaco thibetana (Milne-Edwards, 1870). C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, 70:341.

TYPE LOCALITY: China, Szechwan, Moupin.

DISTRIBUTION: E Tibet; Szechwan to Kwangtung (China).

STATUS: CITES - Appendix II; IUCN - Insufficiently known.

SYNONYMS: esau.

COMMENTS: Includes esau; see Fooden (1967:160). Reviewed by Fooden (1983).
