Lyapunov exponent: Towards randomness measure

Description

We propose a method based on Lyapunov Exponente (LE) capable of measuring randomness of PRNGs (pseudo-random number generators). We study PRNG as discrete dynamical system, motivated by the strong relation between chaos and randomness. Results show good discrimination among PRNG parameters.
