Description
Black hole binaries show time lags between direct photons from the corona and reflected photons from the accretion disk. Using this “reverberation”, one can map the system’s geometry, which is otherwise far beyond the resolution limit of any telescope. We use SIXTE to test the temporal detection limit of time lags in the Athena WFI Fast Detector.
