Type locality: Burma [Myanmar], Rangoon

Distribution. Indian records: Bombay, Belgaum (Hampson 1903b), Sikkim, Khasis (Caradja 1925), Calcutta (Sevastopulo 1935), Khasi (Meghalaya) (Gupta 1994), Kamrup, Guwahati, Sibsagar, Jorhat, North Cachar Hills, Haflong, Aizawl, Khasi Hills, Shillong, Imphal, Tirap, Deomali, Kohima, Ghaspani (Kirti & Sodhi 2001). Global records: Ceylon, Rangoon (Hampson 1896b), China, Rangoon (Caradja 1925), Vietnam (Tonkin) (de Joannis 1930).
