PHASE FORMATION AND PROPERTIES OF THE OBTAINED PHASES IN THE Sb2S3-Cr3Te4 SYSTEM

Description

To study the character of the chemical interaction between the Sb2S3 compound and the Cr3Te4 compound, alloys of the Sb2S3-Cr2Te4 system were synthesized in a wide range of concentrations and studied by the methods of physicochemical analysis, differential thermal (DTA), X-ray phase (RFA), microstructural (MSA), as well as density and was studied by measuring the microhardness and built a phase diagram. It is established that the state diagram of the system is quasi-binary, eutectic type. Based on the initial components, the regions of solid solutions were revealed, which, based on Sb2S3, reach up to 3 mol %, and based on Cr3Te4 up to -8 mol. %. Compounds Sb2S3 and Cr3Te4 form a eutectic whose composition corresponds to 20 mol % Cr3Te4 and melts at 455°C.
