Description

This major release transitions Eradiate to a new aerosol data format, supporting the upcoming release of a fast DISORT backend for 1D plane-parallel geometries. Major changes are as follows:

  • A new ParticleProperties class provides an interface to the new data format.
  • All existing datasets are converted to the new data format, making the transition painless for end-users.
  • Conversion functions allow users to convert their existing datasets to the new format.
  • The radiometric kernel is upgraded to v0.5.0 and includes experimental variance reduction techniques (currently opt-in).
