Louvre aulos basic scales – Classical setting (Lynch 2022)

This figure represents the Phrygian/Hypophrygian scales produced by the Louvre Aulos, discussed in detail in Lynch 2023.This setting is consistent with the Classical and Hellenistic evidence discussed in Lynch 2022a–b, and especially with Athenaeus' Paean  (DAGM 20).
