TYPE LOCALITY: Unknown.
DISTRIBUTION: Tropical to warm temperate waters of the world.
COMMENT: Includes roseiventris and microps; see Perrin, 1975, Bull. Scripps Inst. Oceanogr. Univ. Calif., 21:206.
PROTECTED STATUS: CITES - Appendix II as Order Cetacea.
