TYPE LOCALITY: West Africa.
DISTRIBUTION: Guinea to Gabon.
COMMENT: Includes atys; see Dandelot, 1974, Part 3: 12; and Groves, 1978, Primates, 19:1 -34.
PROTECTED STATUS: CITES - Appendix II as Order Primates and U.S. ESA - Endangered as C. torquatus.
