Asellia tridens (E. Geoffroy, 1813). Ann. Mus. Hist. Nat. Paris, 20:265.

TYPE LOCALITY: Egypt, Qena, near Luxor.

DISTRIBUTION: Pakistan to Arabia, Sinai and Israel; Egypt to Morocco, Senegal, Chad, Sudan and S. Somalia; Socotra; perhaps Zanzibar.
