TYPE LOCALITY: Probably Morocco.

DISTRIBUTION: Senegal to W. Somalia to N. South Africato S. Angola;formerlyN. Africa.

COMMENT: Includes tora; which according to PG is probably a separatespecies. Includes caama; see Ansell, 1972, Part. 15:53-54.

PROTECTED STATUS: U.S. ESA- Endangered as A. b. swayneisubspeciesonly. U.S. ESA - Endangered as A. b. tora subspecies only.
