TYPE LOCALITY: Brazil, Para.
DISTRIBUTION: N.E. Brazil.
COMMENT: Original type locality designation of Guyana was probably an error; see Cabrera, 1961:588. Ojasti, 1972, Mem. Soc. Cienc. Nat. La Salle, 32: 164, considered the status of this form uncertain.
