Galea flavidens

Description

Galea flavidens (Brandt, 1835). Mem. Acad. Imp. Sci. St. Petersb., ser. 6, 3:439.

TYPE LOCALITY: Unknown; possibly Minas Gerais, Brazil.

DISTRIBUTION: Brazil.

COMMENT: Couto, 1950, Mem. Paleontol. Bras., p. 232, considered flavidens synonymous with spixii, but see Cabrera, 1961:573, who considered both to be distinct species and discussed type locality.
