TYPE LOCALITY: Uganda, Ruwenzori Mtns.
DISTRIBUTION: E. Zaire; Rwanda; Burundi; W. Uganda.
COMMENT: Formerly included in Aethosciurus, which is here included in Paraxerus; see Moore, 1959, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 118:153-206.
