Figure 9 in Morphology-based phylogeny of oval palm and flower beetles (Coleoptera: Mycteridae: Eurypinae), with descriptions of new genera and species from Australia

Description

Figure 9. Time-dated cladogram of Mycteridae based on our reconstructed phylogeny and molecular dating of the family in McKenna et al. (2019) shows the antiquity and probable origin of generic lineages of Eurypinae. All known fossils are denoted: 1, Mycterus molassicus Heer, 1847 from Late Miocene of Öhningen, German; 2, Glesoconomorphus nachzehrer Alekseev et al., 2019 presumably close to the Conomorphus-Stilpnonotus lineage from the mid-Eocene Baltic amber; 3, Omineus febribilis Alekseev et al., 2019 from the mid-Eocene Baltic amber; 4, Bertinotus gallicus Kirejrshuk & Nel, 2009 presumably close to Physiomorphus Pic from Early Eocene amber of Oise, France; 5, Europoeurypus inglaeso Alekseev et al., 2020 presumably close to Eurypus Kirby from the mid-Eocene Baltic amber. Geological scale is modified from an updated version of the International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS) International Chronostratigraphic Chart (Cohen et al., 2013).
