Changes relative to v2.0.1:

• During data import:
  • Improves guidance about a common Bioformats error, lets the user know that the .jar is missing and tells them where to stick it.
  • Fixes bug in which the size of upsampled images was incorrectly stored in the metadata.
• In the segmentation module:
  • Halo removal added. Allows background regions that are segmented out by the texture detection process to be automatically removed.
  • Recursive watershed added. Allows objects that are too large to have been correctly segmented (i.e. that have been under-segmented) to be subjected to successively more stringent morphological watershed. Helps to break apart stubborn clumps.
  • Adds progress bar to segmentation GUI to prevent user interaction during on-line processing.
  • Fixes issue in which transparent overlays were sometimes not displayed correctly.
• In the tracking module:
  • Fixes bug to allow tracking over empty frames.
• In the toolbox:
  • Adds the extractTimePoints script, which allows easy conversion of data from track to slice representations.
