Description
Lagenandra peradeniyae var. peradeniyae (Figs. 4, 5, 6 (A), 7(A1 and A2), 8 and 9)
Leaf blades dark green, variegated with silver patches, lance-ovate to narrowly elliptic, apex acuminate, base obtuse, margin entire. blade ca. 6.7–17.2 × 2.3–5.0 cm. Peduncle ca. 10.1–20.5 cm long. Spathe dark maroon/maroon. Pistils ca. 34–38. Staminate flowers ca. 68–74.
