Andrena senex Eversmann, 1852: 27, ♀.

Type locality: Irkutsk (Russia).

Published (original) locality: “in terris transuralensibus”.

Lectotype: ♀, designated by Osytshnjuk et al. 2008: 224, Irkutzk [Russia, Irkutsk Province, Irkutsk, 52°17′N 104°18′E] // senex Evm., ♀ [handwritten by E. Eversmann] // Lectotypus Andrena senex Eversm., design. Osychnjuk, 1980 <red label>// Zoological Institute St. Petersburg INS_HYM_0000262.

Paralectotypes: 2 ♀, Irkutzk // Paralectotypus Andrena senex Eversm., design. Osychnjuk, 1980 <red label>.

Current status. Andrena (Melandrena) senex Eversmann, 1852.

Remark. Description of male: Friese 1914: 225, as Andrena ovinella Friese, 1914 (synonymized by Warncke 1965: 245).

Distribution. Russia (from the Urals to eastern Siberia), Kazakhstan, Mongolia, northern China.
