Classification of Periodicity in Subtraction Game Sequences

Description

Periodic nim sequences produced by subtraction games are interesting because they have distinct patterns. Calculating periodicity that was highly variant from the mean required a large cache size and was computationally costly. Unnecessary use of such resources was best avoided by batch processing the majority of the data with a smaller cache size. Utilizing this method to expand the data to include larger set element values may be critical to comprehensively classifying such relationships. After enlarging the data set, more work is needed to codify these characterizations. In the future, the creation of one or more dynamic visualization programs may be critical to the human digestion of these expansive five dimensional data sets.
