Description

robusta Kertész, 1908

Euryneura robusta Kertész, 1908a: 332; plate V, figs 8 (wing) and 12 (female abdomen, dorsal). Syntypes: males, females, but the number of each sex is not stated (HNHM, destroyed, according to Woodley 2001: 167; NMW). Type of locality: Brazil.

Material examined. Paraguay: 2 ♂, [Guairá], Villarica, vii.1937, F. Schade (USNM; USNMENT01576792 and USNMENT01576791).

Distribution. Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay (Guairá: Villarica).

Comments. The first mention of this species occurring in Paraguay is given in Woodley (2001: 167) of material deposited in the USNM collection, for which the label data is detailed above.
