Description
A theoretical investigation is carried out to understand the basic properties of obliquely propagating nonlinear ion acoustic solitary structures (IASS) in magnetized e-p-i plasmas. In this model, a nonlinear inverse dispersion relation for electrons and positrons that follow a kappa distribution and inertial cold ion fluids is derived and solved numerically. It is shown that the square of frequency decreases while wavelength of IASS increases with increasing values of superthermality of electrons and positrons, ion to electron temperature ratio and angle of propagation of positive solution of the dispersion relation. It is also found that square of frequency of the IASS increases while wavelength decreases with increasing values unperturbed positron to ion density ratio.
