Description

The inconsistency of thermodynamic entropy as a coordinate of heat transfer and a criterion for the irreversibility of processes is proved. The necessity of replacing entropy with a more adequate carrier of internal thermal energy - a thermal impulse as a quantity of motion, which has lost its vector nature due to its randomness, is substantiated. It is shown that in real processes the “thermal impulse” changes both due to heat transfer and in the presence of internal heat sources and is able to both increase and decrease during mutual transformations of ordered and disordered forms of internal energy. This eliminates the glaring contradiction between thermodynamics and evolution and disproves the theory of "thermal death" of the Universe. Other advantages of the thermal pulse are revealed, which facilitate the understanding and assimilation of the thermodynamics of quasi-static and non-static processes.
