Remarks. Psephidonus aokii was originally described from Hidaka mountains, Hokkaido, Japan. Watanabe (1990) redescribed it and provided additional faunistic data from Hokkaido. The species was recorded by Li (1993) from Liaoning, China: ”riverbanks at the Changbai Mt., Liaoning, and Huangtu Mt. of Dashiqiao City” (translation from Chinese by Z.-W. Yin), but this record is most likely a result of misidentification. Aedeagus as in Figs. 41– 42.
