A TEI/IIIF Structure for Standardizing Palaeographic Examples

Presentation of simple TEI P5 standard integrating images (preferably linked via IIIF) to the description of scribal hands, intended to promote discoverability and reusability. While developed for and modelled by a project on Syrian manuscripts, it has general utility. It provides three new elements within handDesc/handNote to link description of palaeographical features to examples. Includes link to repository and its associated ODD file.
