ENGINEER TRAINING IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION

The article examines the process of transformation of engineer training in the context of digitalization of the education system of the Russian Federation. The relevance of the topic is due to the implementation of the federal project "Human Resources for the Digital Economy" of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation". The article points out the lack of specialists in the real sector of the digital economy and the need to restructure the educational work of universities in order to meet the needs of employers. An example of the transformation of the work program of an engineering discipline is given in order to form digital competencies. Other system projects for digitalization are briefly considered.
