Open Educational Resources (OER) provide potential for long-term growth in enhancing educational access and quality by allowing the open usage and re-purposing of high-quality learning resources. But the rapid expansion in demand in Indian higher education, combined with a lack of open access resources, is posing problems. Now a day this problem is enhanced due to worldwide Serious Pandemic (COVID-19). The widespread usage of Open Educational Resources (OER) has grown more important in India, since it broadens the scope of school and higher education.The purpose of OER is to make education accessible to everyone in the country (especially those living in remote areas or who cannot otherwise afford an education, as well as self-learners).The Article examines an evaluation of open educational resources (OERs) in India's current educational system.India's several significant initiatives aimed at effective the several important steps conducted in India to promote the correct use of ICTs are also mentioned, although only in key areas.To ascertain the true state of OERs in India, as well as the degree to which they have deviated from their ideal purpose to meet the sustainable development Goal (SDG4).
