Description
HuBi 1 is the latest addition to the small but potentially not-so-strange group of born-again planetary nebulae. The VLTP suffered by its central star attenuated its magnitude by 10 mag in just 50 years, as well as giving it a unique inverted ionization structure. The recently measured ejecta reaching up to 200 km/s together with the aforementioned oddities made it the perfect candidate for a born-again nebula in the absence of confirmed ejecta abundances. We present the abundances of recent ejecta calculated using the MAPPINGS V code in a shock scenario as well as their main optical properties.
