Dr. Afshin Beheshti is a bioinformatician and principal investigator at KBR at NASA Ames Research Center. He leads the Multi-Omics Analysis Working Group (AWG) at NASA’s Gene Lab and is the president of the COVID-19 International Research Team (COV-IRT). “With a large network of people, you can do a lot of fun things in science. People promote different research ideas and build a nice comprehensive story together. All the pieces of the puzzle start to come together.”
