Description
This deliverable summarises the legal and ethical requirements, as well as the actions that AI-Mind’s clinical partners will follow before processing data (includes collecting, storing and sharing, see Definitions). Its purpose is to give an overview of the different requirements the partners must adhere to when processing data in the scope of this research project. The report represents current knowledge and planned procedures as of November 2021.
This mapping of the complex landscape of regulatory steps necessary in the different countries shows a difference in how European countries have implemented general EU regulations into national law and how certain specific interpretations can differ. Although these variations exist, they must be (and are) effectively navigated on a country and/or clinic level to ensure that they do not act prohibitively to prevent progress within AI-Mind.
