Description
The Gaia DR3 contains the stellar parameterisation of the first 34 months by means of a pure spectroscopic analysis using the combined spectra of single stars reconstructed with the GSP-Spec module (General Stellar Parametriser-spectroscopy) which analyses the spectra obtained with the Gaia Radial Velocity Spectrometer (RVS)
Among these paremeters are: the stellar atmospheric parameters Teff, logg, alpha-enrichemet, metallicity; individual abundances of N, Mg, Si, S, Ca, Ti, Cr, Fe i, Fe ii, Ni, Zr, Ce and Nd; the differential equivalent width of a cyanogen line; and the parameters of a diffuse interstellar band (DIB) feature.
All these parameters are essential for understanding the evolution of the of stars and the galactic stellar populations.
In this work we describe the methods used to obtain the stellar parameters and the main results
