Emotion-first/story-first version control resources
Description
If you’ve ever wanted better version control resources, git-stories may be for you! This poster (1) showcases version-control “stories” told through both art and technical documentation and (2) provides information for joining the community and getting help with your version control issues.
Stories ideas include: “How to share your work,” an overview of the git command cycle in a typical workflow and “When is it time to commit?” which highlights users who need to commit their code. Emotions can keep users from committing their code and it can be useful to speak directly to those feelings and point to features of version control that provide space for imperfect code.
