LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DISCURSIVA DEL GÉNERO MASCULINO EN LA BOHEMIA POPULAR FOLCLÓRICA SUCRENSE EN LA DÉCADA DE LOS SESENTA DEL SIGLO XX

Description

The gender constructions have been approached from different perspectives and from different branches of the social sciences which have contributed to the construction of knowledge around this theme. In the present investigation, a study was carried out through Critical Discourse Analysis, through which the terms used in a set of traditional folk songs from Sucre which have been composed by Sucrense groups. In the texts it was examined how men are represented and described by the composers themselves in the sound universe, the roles and behaviors assigned to men were observed in order to glimpse how the masculine gender is constructed in the imaginary of the Bohemians from Sucre. This work makes these aspects visible, in the north of the premises that support the research from a discursive and social approach. A working mechanism is presented implementing theoretical contributions from previous research, discussing from them the proposed methodological options, suggesting, by way of closing, conclusions and reflections.
