Hymenoepimecis castilloi Pádua & Sääksjärvi, 2020

Diagnosis. See Pádua et al. (2020).

Distribution. Peru. This is the first record of the species and genus for Argentina (Fig. 7B).

Biological notes. Host unknown.

Material examined. ARGENTINA: Tucumán, Dpto. [= Department] Tafi, ca. Horco Molle, Quebrada del Funicular, 04–05.VIII.1977 (C. Porter leg.), 4♀♀, FSCA; idem, but 25.III–30IV.1966, 5♀♀, FSCA; idem, but 09–11.IV.1970, 1♀, FSCA.
